The only reason many of us don't have our Carhartt coats embroidered is because hiring an embroider can get expensive. The cheapest way to get custom embroidery on your coat is to make your own Carhartt coat designs and than transfer it to your Carhartt coat.
The first step when you want to make your own Carhartt coat designs is to decide on an image. The image is something that needs to be special and unique to you. Some people like to use a family crest, but that doesn't mean you have to. It doesn't matter if your Carhartt coat design is something with a long rich history like a family crest or if it is something simple like a daisy, the important thing is that the image is off something you like and that it is something that when people see it that will instantly think of you.
The next phase when you are determined to make your own Carhartt coat designs is to get the image on paper. Practice drawing the image on a piece of paper. Keep tweaking the image until it looks exactly the way you want it to. Once you are happy with the image, you are going to have to draw it over and over again either in a notebook or on a sketch pad.
