School Uniforms

With the summer coming to an end, the school season is going to be on us full force. This can be a welcomed relief for both children and their parents. With the new school year starting soon, having the appropriate school uniforms and clothing is essential.

Take a look at a few reasons why getting your school uniforms and clothing online can be a great way to save money and time!

As more and more businesses convert from a brick and mortar storefront to a more modern website, they are finding they can offer more of a selection to the customer without having to have the stock in the store. This means a greater selection on the web compared to the traditional storefront.

Having great prices has a lot to do with the market in your area. If there is a lot of shoe stores in your area, the price of shoes is going to be lower than if one store monopolized the market. The internet is an enormous collaboration of storefronts with few stores monopolizing the market. When purchasing school uniforms or school clothes, this translates to cheaper prices.

The selection via the online store is superb as well. Imagine purchasing those hard to find designs by Port & Company simply by visiting your favorite website. This is going to make your shopping experience more diverse where the possibilities abound. The school uniforms you need and want are going to be there when you need them.

Shopping for school uniforms via the internet is quite the fad these days. You will find you save money and have a better selection to choose from. While the traditional storefronts are not going out of business, they too are finding it advantageous to take their supplies to the online marketplace where anything is possible.

Shopping for Dummies

On a recent shopping trip to a local store, I realized I was completely unprepared to shop for my teenage son. As many of you know, my son is 16-years old now, and he is all teenager with a good heaping of that, “I am a momma’s boy” attitude I cherish so much. This doesn’t mean it isn’t a clash of minds when we clothes shop together. We share our same love of food, music, and movies, but our tastes of clothes are completely different.

Our shopping trip primarily consisted of me finding clothes, “Hey Nick, I found the pants…” This is his time to role his eyes in the back of his head. Any minute now I am expecting his eyes to fall out and roll along the floor clacking like marbles. This is my cue that he probably is not too fond of those pants. This is also my cue that I am getting too old.

Well, I sat down in frustration at the dressing rooms, and crossing my arms in defeat said, “Fine. You find what you want.”

I read a bit on a book I had in my cart while I watched people discussing how that new dress made their rears look fat. BTW – if you are a size 3, I do not think you have the right to ever discuss how fat your rear is. Come on. Fat? Where?

Anyway, Nick shows up carrying a couple pair of jeans and a few t-shirts. He proudly walks into the dressing room and tries on his new finds. He comes out in some nice Carhartt pants. But wait, those look familiar… those are the exact same pants I have in my cart already that caused his eyes to clack together in the back of his head.

Ok Nick, those are great. In the cart they go, and away we go. Smiling, I appreciate the funny moment because, although he is a teenager, I know he is growing into an adult that will soon leave home and appreciate the clothing styles and choices he learned from his dear, old mom.
